The county says that the Elsmore was built in 1924, but the current owner was told it was built in 1926. Sears sold the house in both years.
The owner found shipping labels from Sears on the woodwork in the house.

What a beauty! The renovation is so tastefully done. I just love the Elsmore!

The "before" photos you link to were helpful - they gave me a deeper appreciation for what the owners had to contend with before their renovation. The Elsmore looks good in brick, but I think I like the shingled version shown in the Sears catalog better because the window casings there are more substantial.
We used to own an Ellsmore but it had another house added along side it so it had back to back fireplaces built in cabinets and a huge living room with a bay window and a very large master bath on the other opposite end of the two bedrooms by the kitchen.
